Spanish Dual Language Program
Dual language programs (two-way immersion programs) allow English learners and English proficient students to receive instruction in English and a target language in the same classroom to develop academic proficiency in both languages beginning in kindergarten for a minimum of six years. Harvard Elementary currently offers the option of participating in a Spanish/English dual language program for grades K - 2.
The program is designed for English Learners who speak Spanish and English speakers.
Students learn California content standards in English and Spanish.

Students entering TK or K can apply online at echoices for the Dual Language Spanish program. Select Dual Language Education (DLE). Students transferring from a dual immersion Spanish program from another school can also apply for grades 1 and 2.
