Classroom Parties

In accordance with LAUSD’s policy on classroom celebrations, teachers may host a maximum of two classroom parties during the school year. As our goal is to provide a high-quality education for every student, we are unable to take time to hold birthday parties at school. While your child’s birthday is very important, so are the instructional minutes for all students. Thank you for allowing us to use every minute of the instructional day to focus on teaching and learning!

• In collaboration with the classroom teacher, parents may provide treat bags with non food items such as pencils, erasers, and/or small favors. 
• You can donate instructional materials for example, donate books to your child’s classroom library, pencils, stickers, etc. (For other ideas ask your classroom teacher)
